Restart Windows

- Microsoft Vulnerable Driver Blocklist > Off
Restart Windows
Enable Windows test mode
- Start > Command prompt (run as administrator)
bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON
bcdedit.exe -set NOINTEGRITYCHECKS ON
Restart Windows
Install drivers
-
Connect interface
-
Start > Device manager
- Universal Serial Bus controllers > USB Serial Converter
- Update driver > Browse my computer for drivers > Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
- Have Disk..
- Browse.. (DriversOPcom/OPCOMUSB.INF)
- OK > Next > Yes
- Install this driver software anyway
- Close
Test interface
- "OPCOM090714_EN" > OP-COM_OK.exe > Run as administrator
- Settings > Test interface
- Should say "Interface test ended successfully"
Disable Windows test mode
- Start > Command prompt (run as administrator)
bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions ENABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING OFF
bcdedit.exe -set NOINTEGRITYCHECKS OFF
Restart Windows
Perform diagnosis
- Enable Windows test mode
- Restart Windows
- Perform diagnosis
- Disable Windows test mode
- Restart Windows
Uninstall
Uninstall drivers
- Start > Device manager
- Universal Serial Bus controllers > OP-COM USB V2 Interface > Uninstall device
Force uninstall
- if uninstall fails:
- Start > Command prompt (run as administrator)
pnputil /enum-drivers
pnputil /delete-driver opcomusb.inf /uninstall /force
